American Honda announced today the launch of the HRC Performance Shop pilot program, enabling U.S. road racing customers and teams to benefit from parts and expertise from Honda Racing Corporation in Japan*—a legendary brand in the world of motorcycle competition. The new program was developed to enhance U.S. customers' access to genuine, high-quality HRC racing components while supporting the road racing community with an official, factory-backed channel for HRC parts and knowhow.

The HRC Performance Shop program's initial phase will focus on offering select HRC performance components for 2025 and newer CBR1000RR-R Fireblade models, including engine and electrical parts, chassis components and setup tools. Over time, American Honda will evaluate opportunities to expand the program to model-specific race kits and, where appropriate, the potential availability of complete, fully built competition units.

The following dealerships were selected to participate in the HRC Performance Shop pilot program through access to specialized HRC parts, components and accessories developed for closed-course road racing:

  • Al Lamb's Dallas Honda – Dallas, TX

  • Jones Honda – Columbia, MO

  • Southern Honda Powersports – Chattanooga, TN

These dealers have an established track record of supporting high-level, closed-course motorcycle racing—whether through direct race-team involvement or through sustained technical and parts support for competitive racing customers—making them well positioned to uphold the standards and objectives of the HRC Performance Shop designation during the pilot phase. As insights are gained from the pilot, American Honda will evaluate opportunities to thoughtfully expand the program to additional qualified powersports dealers, reinforcing Honda's long-term commitment to competitive racing support.

"With the 2026 road racing season now up and running, it's exciting to launch the HRC Performance Shop pilot program," said Brandon Wilson, Manager of Racing and Advertising at American Honda's Powersports & Products Division. "American Honda has been growing its commitment to road racing for several years now, expanding the Red Rider Rewards racing-contingency program and stepping up support of MotoAmerica teams like Real Steel and Jones Honda, resulting in the Stock 1000 title in 2024. Adding the HRC Performance Shop component is the next step in growing our support of road racing, as it makes it easier for Honda riders and teams to be more competitive. With simplified access to HRC's renowned knowhow and components, Red Riders should be battling at the front on road racing tracks across the country."

*HRC Performance Shop is a Powersports program developed in collaboration with Honda Racing Corporation's Japan-based global racing organization; Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC U.S.) oversees automobile racing programs in the U.S.
